Hansika Motwani is a talented Indian actress who has made a name for herself in the Telugu and Tamil film industries. Born on August 9, 1991, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Hansika began her acting career as a child artist in Hindi television serials, gaining popularity with shows like "Shaka Laka Boom Boom" and "Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand" ¹ ².

Hansika was raised in a Sindhi Hindu family to businessman Pradeep Motwani and dermatologist Mona Motwani. She attended Podar International School and later the International Curriculum School in Santacruz, Mumbai. Her parents separated when she was young, and she was raised by her mother ¹ ³.

Hansika's breakthrough role came with the Telugu film "Desamuduru" (2007), earning her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South. She went on to star in successful films like "Kantri" (2008), "Mappillai" (2011), "Velayudham" (2011), and "Aranmanai" (2014). Her notable Tamil films include "Singam 2" (2013), "Maan Karate" (2014), and "Maha" (2022) ¹ ².

Hansika married businessman Sohael Khaturiya on December 4, 2022, at Mundota Fort and Palace, Jaipur. She practices Buddhism and regularly meditates, finding solace in chanting "Nam Myo Ho Renge Kyo" ⁴ ⁵.
